Digital and Analog Devices
(1) Electron tubes and transistors have three states when amplifying signals, (1) off state, (2) fully on state, (3) at the amplification triangle (the signal at the amplification triangle is never cut off or fully turned on).
(2) For digital circuits, transistors only work in the off state and on state. Analog circuit transistors only work in the amplification triangle. This is the difference between working status.
(3) The form of the signal is different due to the different working conditions. The analog signal is a continuous sine wave, also known as a continuous signal. A digital signal is a pulse wave one by one, and it is also called a discrete signal because of its discreteness.
(4) A circuit that uses discrete signals to process graphics and characters is called a digital circuit. A graphic circuit processed with a continuous sinusoidal signal is called an analog circuit.
